I have wanted to travel to Monaco for a while now. Maybe it was influenced by the F1 Grand Prix here, but it's a beautiful city filled with an overwhelming amount of wealth and bling. I took a bus from Nice to Monaco, which took about an hour with all of the stops and winding Riviera roads. I'm not sure what's going here. I didn't see any real cows carrying cement barrels. For my Uncle Morris, a typical fire truck in central/western Europe.
I arrive in Monaco almost directly in front of the world famous Monte Carlo Casino.
So. Many. Exotic. Cars.
The F1 race was here just a few days before, so there were many stands still standing.
Part of the track/street.
Tyres from the race.
Pit lane exit to the track.
Team pits. Pit entrance from track.
Back in Nice that evening, I went out for dinner with Kevin and Colleen. We walked around the main square afterwards. An art installment. These dudes changed colors and represented peaceful conversation across the world. We ran into some break dancing guys. Colleen, Kevin and myself.
Though I'm currently in Paris, I have not taken many photos. I will get a new post from Paris up tomorrow sometime. Until then, I'm headed to the Louvre, Notre Dame Cathedral and then finally to Barcelona!
